Downeast Community Partners (DCP) is excited to announce that phone lines will open Monday, June 3, 2024, at 8:00am in preparation for the 2024-2025 Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) season.

The DCP Energy Services staff encourages HEAP applicants to call DCP at 207-610-5914 starting June 3 to set up an appointment for the 2024-2025 season, which will officially begin on July 22, 2024.

Please note: Due to statewide HEAP program system updates at MaineHousing, DCP is starting this season with a new information system which will require new copies of the following:

  • photo identification
  • Social Security cards/SSN verification

HEAP applications that include expired identification documents cannot be processed.

As always, DCP looks forward to serving the community, making sure households throughout Hancock and Washington counties stay warm this winter.
